Description: Die Künstler-Edition Derrière le miroir (DLM) erschien zwischen 1946 und 1982 mit dem erklärten Ziel, originalgrafische Arbeiten bekannter Künstler dem breiten Publikum zugänglich zu machen. Das Herausgeber-Ehepaar Marguerite und Aimé Maeght ließ namhafte Künstler wie Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Georges Braque, Pablo Picasso u.v.a. eigens für die jeweilige Ausgabe Originalgrafiken anfertigen. Literarisch ausgestattet wurden die einzelnen Hefte mit bis dato unveröffentlichten Texten berühmter Schriftsteller wie Samuel Beckett, Paul Éluard, Jean-Paul Sartre etc. Den überwiegenden Teil der etwa 250 Ausgaben fertigte die Druckerei Mourlot Frères in Paris an, die für ihre hochwertig produzierten Lithographien bekannt ist.- Die Orig.-Grafiken für diese Ausgabe No. 112 schufen Pierre Tal-Coat (1905-1985), Raoul Ubac (1910-1985) und Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966), die Texte ergänzten Pierre Reverdy, André du Bouchet, André Frénaud, Yves Bonnefoy, Jacques Prévert und René Char.
