Front and back boards have narrow blind-stamped borders. Boards are clean and lettering is clear. Edges at head and tail of board spine are creased; tail has several small tears and a bit of fraying. North America map illustrations on end papers. Light age-toning and smudges on external page edges. Text pages are also lightly age-toned. Text is internally clean and text block is snug. Dust jacket is heavily sunned, soiled overall. Losses at head of jacket spine and adjacent edges, and all fore-edge corners; many chips along upper edges of front and back panels. All folds are rubbed, with several rub-through on fore-edge folds. Inside front flap has 3" by 1 3/4" price clip.
