Description: Softcover The dark red cover has a gilt raised impression of an elephant with a swastika inside a double circle. The leather is shelf worn on the edges and the corners are worn, some of the leather has separated and cracked and a few pieces missing there looks to be some kind of a scotch tape repair (very small). The spine is covered with red cloth it looks like someone has put a piece of tape with the name in ink on it. The end papers are dark red with no writing, at the half title there is an owners name with the date of 1926, the pages before the title page have cracked away at the spine, but are holding to the end papers, on the copyright page is another swastika in a circle with Kipling's name in side it. The interior is lightly age yellowed and very clean. 354 pp See my many other Kipling books
