Quarter blue buckram with light blue-grey paper on the boards and spine edge, generally rubbed and toned. Square and firmly bound with a gilt top edge, foxed at the endpapers and with the former owner's signature on the front endpaper, clean otherwise. The first American edition to appear with additional material of Wilde's letter to Alfred Lord Douglas written during Wilde's imprisonment.
