Description: First limited edition, one (56) of 60 copies that were hand-numbered and signed by Oates along with an original drawing by her tipped in. There were an additional 170 copies signed Oates. With extra spine label laid in. Printed by Mackintosh & Young, designed by Barbara Martin and handbound by Emily Paine. Also laid in is a typed letter from Oates to John Martin of Black Sparrow Press dated March 1st, 1977, reacting to his proposal to publish Daisy. She has signed it and handwritten a PS at bottom of the letter. Also laid in is a 2" x 4" color photo of Oates working at her desk. Fine book in a fine clear acetate dust jacket with the only flaw a 1" chip to the top of the back edge. A beautiful copy!
