Description: First Trade Edition. Original publisher's dark brown cloth (imitation leather) binding in a medium brown paper dust jacket. Gilt lettering on front cover and book spine. Black lettering on front panel and dust jacket spine. Color illustration on front panel. Illustration printed in black ink on back panel. Dust jacket protected in a paper-backed Mylar sleeve. 8 3/4" x 11 1/4." 114 pages, complete. Illustrations in black-and-white and color, complete. Pages are virtually pristine and intact. Covers are very clean and intact except for a few tiny white spots at top edge on front. Binding is tight. Dust jacket is very clean and intact except for minuscule wear to extremities and light to moderate sunning to dust jacket spine (has faded from medium brown to light brown). A Fine book in a Fine dust jacket. Cycle of the Werewolf is a horror novella by Stephen King (b. 1947). The story is about a werewolf who terrorizes the small town of Tarker's Mill, Maine. An unlikely protagonist emerges, a 10-year-old boy named Marty Coslaw. The book features illustrations by Berni (or, Bernie) Wrightson (1948-2017), an American artist and illustrator. Wrightson became well-known for his intricate pencil- and brushwork in his illustrations for horror comics and other comic books. He and King collaborated on several projects.

Oversize HC/DJ. 1st trade edition. Snugly bound bright and neat, bound in textured brown paper covered boards lettered in gilt. Original color pictorial dust jacket has generally sharp edges but sith sun exposure at spine and geometric ares of the side panels. The book was shelved in a room with sun exposure, such that the outline of the smaller books on either side of it shielded the larger areas of the panel from sunfading, but there is a varying degree of sun fading In the areas adjacent to the spine and top edges. Title lettering to jacket spine rmeains bold. Contents snugly bound and fresh with no marks. The black and white and color plates from art by Berni Wrightson throughout. NF/G++ . Spectacular illustrations by Wrightson: each of the 12 chapters has a glossy full-color plate and a double-page glossy B&W drawing. DJ has minimal edgewear (mostly at top of spine) and shelfwear (a few small white rubbing marks); Else very good, no tears, missing chips, creases. Book is tight, square and very good/near fine (no foxing, interior marks, creases).
