Rockefeller, John D. Rockefeller, Jr. was renowned for his philanthropy, giving over $537 million to a myriad of causes over the course of his lifetime. Description: The cover has dark blue cloth. The content is in four parts, each with its numbered chapters. The lettering on the top end of the spine strip is no longer legible. The top edges of the spine strip and boards' corners have a little color loss from shelf wear rubbing. About half of the cloth on the boards has sheen loss, apparently from a reader's handholds.The text block ends have tanned. The front endpaper has an owner's name and a date of ownership.
