Description: First collected edition. Two volume set: First Series, 1835-1843; Second Series, 1844-1853. Thick octavos. Illustrated by George Cruikshank. Both volumes with publisher's advertisements at the back dated 1871. Contemporary green publisher's cloth, gilt spines and centerpieces. Front hinges a little loose, volume one lacks the front free endpaper, one folding plate at the rear of volume two is torn but complete, else very good, clean and sound. A handsome set.
