"Produced around 1962 and identical to the equivalent 1962 regular printings with only five minor changes. First, the words 'Book Club Edition' were printed on the title page. Second, the back covers were solid yellow. Third, the volume numbers were removed from the spines. Fourth, there were no suggested retail price box or blackened suggested retail price box graphics on the covers of volmes 1 through 6, and finally the pages that had pre-text lists in the regular were blank in the Type #2 Book Club editions." Top edge tinted blue is in Near Fine/Perfect condition. Blue 'Digger' end-papers - front free Digger end paper has an approx 1-1/2" chip at foredge (see photo); and is unfortunately lacking rear free end-paper. Closed page edges (foredge and bottom) show light soiling that does touch edges of page margins in a few spots, but otherwise very clean unmarked. There are 25 chapters.
