Description: Pictorial cover and spine on salmon coverd cloth. All edges gilt. The book looks nice but has some problems. Someone taped and glued back cover to strengthen its hold. Also laid tape betweeb F.E.P. and inside front cover. Small piece of three pages torm out page after F.E.P. and to title page about the size of half a dime. All illustrations present.

Beveled edges, all edges gilt. Tissue guarded frontispiece, illustrated title page, and 44 interior illustrations. Taves & Michaluk V045; Myers 13. London: Sampson Low, Marston & Company (1897), 320 pps. Nearly fine copy with bright colors and straight spine. Soft spine ends, modest wear to extremities and a couple of minor spots of soiling. Bookplate on front pastedown dated 1900, unmarked interior. A handsome copy.
