Narrow octavo: 23 × 11.5 cm; pp. [3 (frontispiece, title, colophon)], 16, [2]. Printed from Caslon Old Face on English hand-made paper. Top and fore edge gilt, tail edge uncut. ¶ Ref.: Cave/Manson 75; Chanticleer 75 ¶ Condition: Some fading and marks to boards, spine sunned. Minor browning to flyleafs. Pages tightly bound throughout and bright and clean. ¶ Notes: Often described as the first of the Cockerel 'saddle-backs' - volumes in which the height of the page is exactly twice the width - but in fact 'Terpsichore', Poems by Wade-Grey, 1921, was of similar shape. ¶
