Teal blue cloth spine with black and white art deco patterned paper over boards and a paper title label on the spine. In VG condition with lightly toned pages and protective plastic cover. Slipcase missing. Some page gatherings remain uncut at head. Includes the lovely bookplate of Smith College graduate Ellen Cox Ewing (Class of 1929) and her husband Thomas Stone, a Canadian diplomat. Ellen and “Tommy” were married in August 1930; she and their baby daughter died in childbirth the following June.
