Description: First edition of Ernest Hemingway's first book translated into French. This is the first trade edition, following two limited editions, but is a review copy stamped "S.P." (service de presse) on the front cover. An important early translation of Ernest Hemingway, I believe the first translation of his work in to any language. Scarce in the review copy edition. Translated by Ott de Weymer. Very good in orginal printed wrappers.
