Description: Stated First Edition. 15.8 x 24 cm blue cloth backed paper boards with blue stamped vignette to the front, pink stamped titles to the spine and borzoi device blind stamped to the rear. Grey endpapers, pp (xii) 161(3) with black and white illustrations by Joseph Schindelman and original unclipped dust jacket priced at $3.95. The boards have a hint of bruising to the corners on the front and a slight crease on the rear board due to a manufacturing fault where the paper overlays the cloth of the spine. There is also a small ding on the bottom edge of the rear board. The jacket is now preserved in a clear removable jacket. It is slightly toned along the top edge and sunned on the spine and a little rubbed on the spine tips and corners with minor loss to the head of the spine and the corners there is a corner crease on the front flap.
