Description: Labelled ' Preliminary Edition ' , oversized pages bound in dull brown wrappers, in the manner of an uncorrected proof. Published by Boni and Liveright in 1920. Theodore Dreiser has authored the introduction for this play. The playwright has inscribed this copy on Christmas Eve, 1920. The stiff tan wraps are lightly chipped to the rear wrapper, but heavily chipped to the front wrap and only adhering to the cover in a couple of places. An interesting, and unusual, copy.
