Description: 1ST EDITION. REMAINDER MARK ON FORE-EDGE OF PAGES, ELSE A FINE COPY IN A FINE JACKET. The remainder mark is a line done with magic marker, about 1 1/2" long touching most pages, there are only about 30 pages. The pen was wider than the pages so it lightly brushed that part of the dust jacket on the fore-edge. It is barely noticable because the book is so thin. Otherwise book and dj are like new.

Blue cloth lettered in gold at the spine and with a brown-stamped illustration to the upper board. With decorated endpapers, a title page decoration, six full-page colour plates and various colour and black and white drawings in the text. A touch of light marking to the cloth margins, and a small area of light miscellaneous soiling to the margin of three adjacent text leaves. A very good copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, lightly marked and edge-worn but with so significant loss. A handsome production, seemingly not published in the UK.
