Description: n.p. (Bangor), Bangor Historical Society, 1983, first edition, wrappers. Softcover. This was later issued in a truncated format, but this is the true first edition with 40 extra pages of text and advertisements, the book was issued as a benefit for the Society featuring King and jazzman Brad Terry, the book includes the president's message plus a one-page piece on King, along with a very youthful photo of him, interestingly this brief biography says he is awaiting his latest book, Derry, later in the book is a photo of King in front of his Bangor home titled Come Into My Parlor followed by his four-page A Novelist's Perspective on Bangor, this full-length book is scarce.
