Description: 1899. First Published in Norton Lib. 143 pages. No dust jacket. Brown paper covered boards with brown cloth to spine. Written in both French and English. Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece, with other illustrations throughout. Pages are mildly tanned, but text remains clear. Binding is firm. Rough-cut edges, with some pages remaining uncut. Thumb-marking present to some pages, but text is not obscured. Boards have heavy shelf-wear, with visible corner bumping and noticeable scuffing to edges. Minimal crushing to spine ends. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall. Small but visible marks to rear board.
