Description: 1st Edition. An absolutely beautiful book. The cover is faded in places and shows some wear. The illustration on the front cover has a few small sections that are worn away.There is a little bit of fraying of the corners and edges as well as on the crown and foot of the spine. The corners are bowed inwards. The front page has an inscription to the previous owner in black ink. This page is loose. The page that follows is becoming loose. The binding is fragile where the covers meet the rest of the book. Despite the imperfections listed above, this is a lovely book.

Description: First Edition. Original purple boards very good plus with fading to spine, front cover very neat, small scratch near lower left part of cover. On front pastedown, slight offsetting from piece of tape on upper part of front fly leaf, date and previous owner's signature on front fly leaf, ink and has a small previous library book plate near lower left part of rear pastedown. Tissue gaurd fine, frontispiece fine and rest of contents neat and tight. This copy in a custom made slip case.
