THE WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, complete and in decent shape. It is unclipped - no price is shown. The front panel is bright and unfaded, showing rubbing and a couple of small closed tears to the top edge and a tin border of toning along the spine edge. The spine is toned. It is gently rubbed and nicked at the ends. The back panel is sound, showing gentle overall toning and slight wear to the top and bottom edges. THE BOOK : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean. The spine ends are gently bruised. The pages are clean. No foxing. The closed page edges are gently toned. No spotting. The binding is tight, the hinges are solid. No dog-eared pages. A decent copy in a protected wrapper. Paypal accepted.

Very good minus, first edition book in very good minus dust jacket. Dark blue cloth covered boards; front panel has blind-stamped concentric rectangles with a gilt leaf frond in the center and black lettering on spine. Spine and extremities are faded. Smudges on upper external page edges; side and lower edges are age-soiled and lightly foxed. Faint shadow transfer to back end papers. Text pages are lightly age-toned else internally clean. Text block is sound. Dust jacket is soiled overall. All extremities are sunned, heavily on spine and fore-edge folds. Folds are creased and scuffed, and with several rub-throughs on the front fore-edge fold. Loss across width at head of jacket spine and upper edge of front and back panels of approx. 2 1/4" by up to 3/4" on the front corner. Several chips and closed tears along edge at tail of jacket spine. All fore-edge corners are rubbed and with losses of up to 3/8". The upper edges of front and back panels are softened and have several horizontal creases as well as several chips and closed vertical tears of up to 1/4". All inside flap corners have small uniform clips. It is unlikely that a price would have been displayed. Please use close up options for best inspection and in support of condition description.
