Engraved portrait of André signed by the engraver W.F. Hopson; title-page etching signed by the etcher W.H.W. Bicknell. Printed from a manuscript discovered in 1902. Limited to 467 copies on handmade paper out of a total edition of 487 sets. Full vellum lettered in gilt, gilt crest on upper covers. Top edge gilt. Housed in the original publisher's slipcases. Slipcases with some wear, but stunning copies of the books.

Limited Edition 487 copies beautifully bound in full vellum with gold coat of arms on boards and gold lettering on the spines, t.e.g. Frontispiece from an original engraving by Andre - signed by the engraver William F. Hopson and slo by E. D. French the designer of the title pages. A comprehensive and highly interesting account of the movements and engagements of the British Army during the months of June 1777 to November 1778. A very scarce set in wonderful condition.
