Description: 300 copies of this work were printed in 1916. This is one is one of 47 copies, previously unbound, which were bound and issued in 1977 to mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Usher Gallery. It is not known whether this is one of the 300 originally printed. In a sound and clean red cloth binding, 224 pages, 29 x 38.5 cm, containing 87 illustrations in colour form the author's own water-colour drawings (plate XXXIIA is missing from the 47 copies). A very nice volume, heavy, so extra shipping outside UK.
