Description: This unabridged edition has some light corner bumping with worn leather with board just showing on front cover corners. There is rubbing, spotting, and edge wear of both covers. Corded spine has worn black leather title labels with gilt lettering. Rubbed at head and foot of spine, but leather has not frayed. Hinges are solid and will need careful handling. Over 1500 pictorial illustrations. 1512 pages of text which have yellowed with age, some spotting and edge wear. Frontis-portrait retains protective tissue that has shadowed and some wear. Back free endpaer is missing. Due to the large size and thickness of the book, it will require additional shipping. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
