Description: Landscape format (11 x 8 cms) Illustrations engraved by Edmund Evans. Originally published as: Almanack for 1887. London : G. Routledge, [1886]. With 1925 calendar substituted for 1887; the texts of five poems are printed as in 1887, but from a new setting of type. 12 half page coloured illustrations for the months and 4 small coloured illustrations for the seasons. Original pictorial boards with yellow cloth spine, lacking the glassine wrapper, boards sligthly soiled.

Description: Original cream-colored glazed pictorial boards. 24 pp. 3" by 4.25". Both covers have a picture of four women representing the seasons, printed in colors, a double-line border filled in with blue, and the title and author's name printed in black. The spine is yellow, page edges yellow, and endpapers turquoise blue. Small, neat bookseller slip inside the back cover, Near Fine. Nice copy. Schuster 16a. Corresponds to Thomson 63 in all respects except for the white endpapers. Part of a bookseller's private Greenaway collection purchased by us from her estate.
