Quarter-bound in black morocco and beige cloth over boards, gilt-stamped spine titles, plain endpapers; housed in black cloth slipcase. Monthly newsletter and letterpress "Photogravure" insert laid in. A few faint scratches to spines, else Fine in Near Fine slipcase showing minor shelfwear and rubbing. An impressive edition of Warren's masterpiece -winner of the 1947 Pulitzer Prize for fiction - illustrated with O'Neal's photographs taken in Louisiana and Texas during 1988-9.
