Yellow buckram, mottled and stain, with black ink lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound with a grey top stain, toned at the endpapers, clean otherwise. A collection of thirteen stories about Polish and German immigrant families living in the Midwest, "positive stories of small-town people."
