Later edition. 1928 Christmas gift inscription on front free endpaper; boards worn and stained; tight and sound. Despite the statement on the title page, this later edition was issued without the four plates with perforated figures to punch out. There is instead a color frontispiece with numerous figures and instructions to cut them out, make slits, and place them as instructed at the Mad Tea-Party Table (the plate is untouched).

Name of previous owner on front free endpaper with her bookplate. Faint damp staining to bottom edges to the last 10 pages of the book. Overall a nice copy of a scarce book with the four pages of cut-outs present.
