Description: Printings and dates listed through "Ninth Printing, January, 1946". Very good hardback in very good plus unpriced, unclipped dust jacket. Book has a light 1/4 inch bump to upper fore-edge corner of front cover and slight if not trivial darkening/spotting of edges. Endpapers are lightly soiled. Front free endpaper has a small patch (one inch by two inch) that shows minor evidence of erasure and has 1/4 inch orange felt-tipped pen spot. Dust jacket has a one inch by half inch triangular chip along bottom edge of front panel; a missing 1/2 inch band at top of spine and 1/4 by 1 inch chip along top edge of front panel at spine; and minor if not slight shelf wear/chipping/rubbing primarily to edges corners and extremities. Front flap has a two inch by 1/2 inch triangular darkening/soiling at base.
