Circumstances reunite him with his shiftless father, "Pap" and Huck finds himself under Pap's custody and leaves town with him only to face more unknown adventures.

Description: Last date on copyright page is 1923, with no subsequent dates. The pictorial dustwrapper (by Brehm, whose illustrations are also in text) suggests a 1920's publication. The black cloth binding is clean and unworn, the front pastedown illustration bright. The dustwrapper is price-clipped, with one tiny v-chip to top front flapfold. The fore-edge and bottom edges of the textblock are mildly foxed, as is the dustwrapper. Evidence of weak stain to top edge of rear board. The text and endpapers, however, are clean and unmarked and unworn. 421pp. with all 13 full page illustrations including frontis intact. Albeit with the noted faults, this is a very uncommon edition in dustwrapper. Q08630
