Description: 725 pp. 8.5 x 11. #Numbered of 1,015 copies, two vols. in slipcase, cellophane-sealed. Kemble frontispiece from the first U.S. ed. From the collection of the publisher, Frederick Gale Ruffner, Jr. The 720-leaf working manuscript, representing three-fifths of the completed book, reveals the process by which Twain's masterpiece grew through many interruptions during the course of composition (1876 - 1884). The facsimiles are the precise size of the original manuscript and appear one to a page. Endpapers are lithographs from The Valley of the Mississippi. Front cover has author's signature in gold. Boards are river mud gray with water blue quarter spine, decorated and lettered in gold.

Description: Handsome (still shrink-wrapped) copies of this two-volume set, no slipcase. Introduction, by Louis Budd, followed by two volumes of the manuscript, with afterword, by William H. Loos. One of 1015 numbered copies, unknown what number (or even if it is numbered, since I don't want to tear off the original plastic). Light brown paper covered blue cloth boards, with gilded letter on spine and signature of author on front boards. On front board in upper left corner, where the plastic had split, the blue cloth has faded along an inch-long thin area.

Description: First facsimile, holographic edition, containing a facsimile reproduction of Mark Twain's original manuscript, with an introduction by Louis Budd. One of 1015 numbered copies - this copy un-numbered. A two volume set of the facsimile manuscript of the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, specially bound in quarter leather by Sangorski & Sutcliffe. This fine stamped Morocco binding represents the facsimile manuscript from the middle of Chapter XII through Chapter XIV, and from Chapter XXII through the end, and amounts to three-fifths of the final published text. The rest of the manuscript was found subsequently to this fine binding facsimile set being published. The facsimile manuscript (all that was known to be in existence at that time), bound in quarter blue Morocco leather and gilt stamped cloth. One of a very few copies of the limited edition that was bound specially leather bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe. ***Vol I: Black and white frontispiece by E. W.
