About fine in good or better pictorial dust jacket with two barely noticeable externally repaired tears, and two long internally repaired tears. A fictionalized biography of nineteenth-century English author Letitia Elizabeth Landon, poet and novelist, reconstructing the circumstances of the author's mysterious death, found dead at age thirty-six in her room, holding an empty bottle of prussic acid. Scarce in dust jacket.
