The jacket was also in wonderful shape until somebody shoved the jacket spine down an inch or so, tearing the edges in the process. This was repaired with tape but is still visible. The rest of the jacket is a bit shelf worn, particularly at the spine. Until you handle the book and look closely it really does look nearly new.
