Description: Hardcover. Paper-covered boards featuring a repeating blue and white pattern of a christmas tree and a figure with wings, and blue lettering on the front cover and white lettering along the spine. A piece of the foot of the spine is missing. Spine edges and the head are heavily worn. Paper is coming away from the edge of the spine making the muslin visible. Covers are faded. Corners are bumped and papers are coming away as well. A bookplate is neatly affixed to the inside front cover by a previous owner. On the page opposite of the title page is a black-and-white illustration of a christmas tree. No date on title page. Copyright page dated 1941. Unpaginated. Crisp black-and-white illustrations on most every page. Bits of red font scattered throughout. Interiors are clean and unmarked. Overall, a fair and readable copy.
