With a separate specimen portfolio. The deluxe edition, this being copy no. XXXII of 85. The 32 specimens in the main volume are the work of 16 designers, including Edward Bawden, Harry Carter, Claud Lovat Fraser, Elizabeth Friedlander, Thomas Lowinsky, Eric Ravilious, Graham Sutherland, and Paul Nash. The separate portfolio covered in the same Lovat Fraser design contains 5 full-sheet examples of Curwen pattern papers folded in a pocket, including designs by Bawden, Lowinsky, Friedlander (2), and Enid Marx. In 1928, the Curwen Press published a full-sheet specimen book with 31 designs with an introduction by Paul Nash, which is reprinted in this work.
