Description: Quarto. Half-bound in navy morocco (goatskin) over four-colour, stone-marbled boards. Four raised bands (five compartments) to spine, with bright gilt-on-black spine label, which, oddly enough, names the illustrator, but neglects to mention the playwright, (whomever he was!) Thick paper, lightly toned. Forty beautiful and magical, color plates, each mounted on thick art paper, protected by tissue guards, fully captioned. 134 pp. A gorgeous and eminently giftable edition of Shakespeare's delightful romp through a tale of lovers, actors, fairies and forests.
