Description: 173 x 107 mm. Likely contemporary greyish-brown bobbled cloth with gold on black title label on spine "GUIDE TO LAKES", Inscribed "Rev. J. Austin Keswick --- 1837" on front pastedown with the armorial bookplate of Genl. Aylmer partly obscuring inscription. Folding map as frontispiece (in very good order, not coloured). Title page. Contents. i-xxiv 1-140 2p.of ads. Small ink corection to text on page ii. Clean tight text (collated complete) with some occasional light browning. Minor fadig to sound covers. A most presentable item. Book is in very good minus condition with minor but noticeable signs of wear and/or age.
