Description: This is the first hard cover edition, first printing of the book lacking the dust jacket. Instead of a dust jacket there is a special wrap around sleeve, covers most of the book top to bottom. The sleeve has the cover art for the first paperback edition plus publisher's information on the back cover portion. It was issued for the Bantam paperback release of 1997. The book is slightly rubbed with a few small bumps to the edge and tips. The map front free endpaper was creased in production, thus a hurt that was "recycled" into an Advance reading copy. Quite uncommon, it is unlikely that many of the sleeves survived once they were in the hands of the readers.
