Two titles in one volume that was originally published in paperback and in double column format, this copy hardcover with the original covers absent. Purple cloth with brown cloth spine. Covers very very worn, spotted and chipped, front free endpaper partially detached, binding otherwise sound, pages a little age-yellowed but mainly clean with a few scattered finger smudges to margins, personal library label inside front cover. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

White and reprinted from the columns of that journal and Entered According to Act of Congress in the year 1874, by Charles E. Warburton. An extremely scarce printing of A Fancy of Doctor Ox published in the same year as the authorized printing by James Osgood. Very Good despite some modest loss to spine paper and wrapper edges, significant but light staining to first twenty or so pages, later sheets with only light stain to fore-edge.
