Insgesamt noch gutes Exemplar. First edition. English language edition. With engrave frontispiece (portrait of Milton) and red and black printed title page. Binding rubbed and partially chipped, joint partially torn, corners bumped, bookplate, flyleafs a bit loosened, endpapers foxed and book binder's glue stained, frontispiece with small stain (image) and crease mark (white margin), old owner's mark in ink on title page, last third of the book tidemark (just lighty darkened and only in few cases affecting the text minimally) with growing dirt smudge (not affecting the text) towards the end, pages lightly darkened and mostly throughout with faint but areal foxing. Altogether still good copy. Sprache: englisch.
