Description: 1947 Edition. Early tight hardcover book in good condition with good minus dustjacket. 8vo. 118pp. Aqua woven boards & backstrip with bright gold lettering on the backstrip. Black & white and color illustrations throughout text. Endpapers have large oval color Tasha Tudor scenes on white background. Book is clean & very tight. The boards have minimal wear - the back board has a speck of soiling. The backstrip has a little wear on the top & bottom. The endpapers have a little light foxing. The leaves are in very good condition with no markings - one page has a fingerprint on the outside edge. The dustjacket has some foxing, soiling, & a little edgewear. The dustjacket's outside backstrip has discoloration and edgewear. The corners of the dustjacket flaps are clipped. The inside of the dustjacket has some light age discoloration. Description: Later reprint edition. Book has light shelfwear to corners and ends of spine. Otherwise, book has bright white pages. Strong binding and sturdy boards. Dust jacket has moderate shelfwear to all edges and corners, including 1inch tears to top/bottom of spine, as well as top of front cover. Moderate rubbing and light staining to front/back covers. Otherwise, illustrations and text are all clearly visible and still pack a lot of colour. A great addition for the collectors out there. Now in protective mylar cover.
