Description: SECOND EDITION, with slight changes. The three editions were published 1969, 1971, & 1973 respectively. The 1969 first edition was published by Quixote Press, the second & third editions were published by Druid Books. The third edition was actually a second printing of the second edition. Several changes were made in this second edition: many of the introductory pieces were deleted, and added was "The Way the Dead Love", a novel excerpt which first appeared in Congress and which the editor originally had intended to include. The drawings are by Bukowski. Edited by Douglas Blazek. The wraps were coloured orange (1st), purple (2nd), & cream (3rd). Staplebound in original purple printed wraps with Bukowski illustrations to cover, red endpapers. Original price $1.75 printed to front cover. Very mild handling wear, otherwise a very nice clean softcover copy. 77pp. Uncommon.
