Description: 1928 reprint of the third edition. "Library Edition" stated on the spine of the dust jacket. A very presentable, bright, hardly read copy with no inscriptions and clean pages throughout the book. Red cloth boards are very fresh looking with very minimal rubbing to the very extremities (hardly really noticeable but mentioned in this description in the interests of fairness and clarity. The title lettering on the spine is very crisp still, as is the elephant motif on the front board. The is a little toning to the front and back fly leaves and to the fore edge page block edge. Gold finishing to the top page block edge looks impressive. The dust jacket is in amazingly well preserved, bright condition and not clipped. On closer inspection there are small nicks to the dj at the fore edge corners and at the foot of the spine and overall toning. Make no mistake though this is a truly remarkable copy.
