Description: This copy is a second state of the first edition. There is very little corner bumping or edge wear. The book has been water damaged however. Obvious spill marks on bottom edges of both covers and unclipped DJ. Hinges and gutters are solid, some early foxing and the water damage has caused discoloration bottom edges of endpapers near spine. Binding is solid but there is some forward cocking due to improper shelf storage. Unclipped DJ has wrinkling from the water and light edge chipping, no missing material. Interior text is quite good with no ownership or other markings. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall

Also includes the very short play "This Property Is Condemned" which was made into a poorly received film in 1966 with Natalie Wood & Robert Redford in the leads & a screenplay by Francis Ford Coppola. Some shallow chipping to the back panel of the dustjacket also minute chipping to the top edge of the front panel, and the spine panel. Small bump to the top corner of the cloth. The insides are fine. Uncommon in the first printing.
