One of the greatest disasters in history: the sinking of the Titanic. Non-fiction, historical fiction, and fiction books about the Titanic are all sought after by individuals. Many people collect anything they can related to the Titanic and look for any book they can find on the topic.
Clive Cussler's Raise the Titanic is the fourth book in the Dirk Pitt adventure series by the author. New editions of the book are available on Amazon but many collectors would love to have a signed 1976 edition with the original dust jacket, going for around $1000.
Logan Marshall's 1912 The Sinking of the Titanic and Great Sea Disasters can be found and it is reasonable uncommon to find one in good condition. Many of them are quite worn and have experienced wear but they will still cost the collector a few dollars.
And then there's Walter Lord's A Night to Remember, often studied in high school English classes and available in mass paperback, but a signed first edition of this book, one of 3000, can be difficult to locate. If you do find one, expect to pay about $425.
