Few writers garner more attention and fascination for book collectors than Ken Follett. The Welsh writer is perhaps best known for his best selling novel The Pillars of the Earth. Signed copies of the book can be found online for about $200. First published in 1989, the book was an instant hit and just before the turn of the century in 1999, Follett's publishers, Macmillon, released a special collectors edition of the book which included a new introduction from the author.

As Follett is a living writer and still publishing books, most of the signed copies of his works and most of the first editions are readily available and not too expensive. His most recent work entitled "Edge of Eternity" published in 2014 is part of the Century trilogy. Most recently the trilogy has been sold in many collectors editions and box-sets. The box-sets are available in hardback or paperback.

For the serious collector, Swan Galleries has auctioned written drafts of his stories with his signature. These unedited raw versions of Follett's stories can fetch up to $1000 at an auction.
