First Edition Prices, Values and Auction Results

We collected a sample of 19 auction results of Grant, H. R. J. and John F. Moreton, editors's Aspects of Collecting Golf Books. Subscribers Edition from 1 different auction houses. The lowest overall price realized in our sample was $96 and the highest overall price realized was $1560. The overall average price was $616 and the median price realized for the book was $450. There were 14 auctions (74%) with a price realized below the low estimate, 4 auctions (21%) exceeding the high estimates, and 1 auctions (5%) within the range of the low and high estimates. Auctions of interest include: a PBA sale on March 06, 2008 of a 1996 - Grant Books edition for $1080 that descibed as "fine"; a PBA sale on July 28, 2005 of a 1996 - Grant Books edition for $1560 that signed by 5 of the contributors;
